FPAC season auditions
FPAC (SPT Tier I) welcomes actors of all races, ethnicities, ages, gender identities, abilities/exceptionalities, and body types.

AEA AUDITIONS
FPAC will hold Equity Principal Auditions for the full season in NYC and Franklin. AEA members, please refer to the postings on the AEA site for signup. We will see non-Equity actors at the EPAs if time permits.
For EPAs, please prepare a short monologue OR a short song OR a one-minute monologue & 16 bars of a song. Auditions may not exceed 3 min. An accompanist will be provided, please bring sheet music. Please bring a headshot and resume.
Video Submissions will be accepted to FPACcasting@gmail.com. Unlisted YouTube links preferred (no downloads please).

*All performers 18 (high school) and under cast in FPAC productions appear as “Student Apprentices.” The FPAC Student Apprentice program gives students of the arts a chance to share the stage with and be directed/choreographed by Broadway stars and New York, Boston, and local professional artists. A learning experience in the world of professional regional theater, Student Apprentices are sometimes called upon to assist FPAC’s Stage Management team and crew with things like technical rehearsals, upkeep of THE BLACK BOX space, and more. QUEEN IDUNA: Queen of Arendelle and child of the Northhuldra; strong and compassionate mother. Vocal Range F3-E5.
BULDA: Spiritual matriarch of the Hidden Folk; Kristoff’s nurturing and vibrant adoptive mother. Vocal Range: Bb3-D5

CHRIS: 30s-40s. Black. A journalist. Overburdened, postpartum, newly divorced working mom; a reporter determined to get the story.
MARGARET: 40s-60s. Black. The First Lady. An impeccable combination of high fashion, corporate experience, and legal savvy; regal, sophisticated, brimming with bitterness and pent-up rage. Goes for the jugular.
BERNADETTE: 30s-50s. White. The president's jailbird, drug-dealing, lesbian sister. A whirlwind of chaos and mayhem. A savvy kingpin with endless 'connections,' a wicked sense of humor, and raw sexual magnetism. Jean's kryptonite.

SEEKING
DICKON: 16-25 (Range: Tenor, D3-G4) Martha’s younger brother. Looks after the sick plants and animals within the Misselthwaite grounds—including Mary. He is a young man who is between the world of child imagination and adult reasoning. Befriends Mary and convinces her to take care of the Garden.
LIEUTENANT SHAW: Age Flexible. Fellow officer.
CLAIRE HOLMES: Age Flexible. Major Holmes’ wife.
FAKIR: Age Flexible. (Range: Tenor, C3-B4) South Asian. Dies during the cholera epidemic and looks after Mary from beyond.
AYAH: Age Flexible. South Asian. Mary’s caretaker in India. Dies during the cholera epidemic and looks after Mary from beyond.
MARY LENNOX: To play 11-13 (Range: Young Voice, Ab3-D5) A girl sent to live with her uncle, Archibald, when her parents die from cholera in India. Quite the curious explorer, and often finding herself in trouble. Stubborn and always fighting for what she believes in.
COLIN CRAVEN: To play 10-12 (Range: Young Voice, A3-E5) Archibald’s son. Spent his life in bed due to a heart condition. He is very stubborn and throws temper tantrums to get what he wants. He believes his father hates him for causing Lily’s death.
