ELECTRIC YOUTH (EY) is an ensemble of young singer-dancers trained exclusively at Franklin School for the Performing Arts. Backed by an eight-piece band of world-class musicians, EY delivers high-energy entertainment for all ages: Broadway hits, contemporary pop favorites, classic rock, funk, swing, and country music! Presenting dynamic concerts at home and overseas, EY students are ambassadors of America’s youth, inspiring audiences, enriching communities, and connecting with people worldwide.

ELECTRIC YOUTH AND THE BOSTON SHOW BAND tours Europe every summer, performing in elegant theater venues, outdoor concert stages, cities, town squares, resort towns, and American military bases. Donations ensure that EY students continue to enjoy the opportunity for creative expression through unique global experiences.

Franklin Performing Arts Company is proud to receive contributions in memory of Kenny Hadley. Kenny was an integral part of the Franklin arts family, a dear friend, and a force in many lives.  As a teacher and mentor, he gifted his incredible talent to nurture students’ growth as musicians. We treasure our 25-year history with Kenny as a respected and decorated jazz musician and bandleader of his acclaimed Kenny Hadley Big Band, FSPA Music Faculty member, contractor and percussionist for the pit for FPAC, founder of the ACME Rhythm Section, and drummer for The Boston Show Band backing Electric Youth throughout New England and on tour in Europe. Kenny exemplified the values of community, compassion, and collaboration with his dedication to sharing his joy of music with all. We will miss him dearly and will do our best to honor his legacy.

Steve “Crow” Crowley was a fixture at FSPA and FPAC since both of their beginnings. A forever fan of all things on both sides of the curtain, he spent countless hours quietly watching rehearsals and proudly shared the stage with his granddaughters, Maddie and Hannah, his daughter, Kim, and his son-in-law, Guy, in a number of FPAC productions, most notably in The Nutcracker, as “The Grandfather.” Crow volunteered in various ways for FPAC throughout the years and especially loved tending bar at THE BLACK BOX. He built relationships with so many FSPA families and FPAC patrons, and will be forever missed. Here’s to “another Friday night”, Crow.  FPAC thanks you for donations made in his memory.
